Yobin Timilsena

I am a current PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne. My research interests are spatial and labour macroeconomics. I am originally from Nepal but have lived in the UAE, the UK, the USA, and Australia during the pursuit of my tertiary education.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics from New York University Abu Dhabi and my Master’s degree in Economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Melbourne.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, and avidly follow football and cricket. Guilty pleasure is playing Football Manager and Cricket Captain.
